What does W3 need from me to make a quotation?

The more information, the better. At least we need a sitemap or the total number of pages and different layouts.

We need to know if the complete website has to be managed using a CMS or if only certain parts of the website need to be updatable.

We need to know what modules or specific functionalities need to be developed. Preferably there is a functional design or a detailed description of the project.

Do we as a partner have to communicate with India or Indian people?

No, as a partner you only have to communicate with our order and account managers in Holland.

Where does the project management happen?

All projects are managed from W3 Headquarters in Rotterdam by Dutch people who are in close contact with our partners and the Development Centre.

Why is the Development Centre of W3 Industries in India?

There are many reasons, but the 3 most important reasons are:

• Large number of qualified people with high level of education and a great motivation.
• Lower salaries that lead to lower production cost and result into a great price/quality comparison.
• We can use the benefit of the difference in time zone. We work earlier so a lot of work gets done while you're still asleep

What do we have to deliver for the production of a website?

We would need at least a sitemap, a functional design or description and a layered PSD with all the pages and content. Content can also be delivered in MS Word or text format.

What does W3 do when my client or a non-ad agency approaches W3 directly?

We refer this person (back) to our partners. We don't do business directly with "end-consumers" but only with Ad-agencies, Graphic Designers and E-business providers.

Does W3 give support to us when we sign up for a pitch?

Only on explicit request of our partner and under some conditions. Contact us for more details in case you are signing up for a pitch.

Does W3 come along to our clients during the requirements gathering phase or when the project is discussed in detail?

Not by default. In some cases we do come along to a client but in general it's not required. Contact us to discuss when you feel our presence is required.
